You must select the Rotate tool in the toolbox.
Then, you may choose one of these basic options:
- Normal (forward)
- Corrective (backward)
"Normal" is self-explanatory. You just need to rotate th image with the mouse, then click "Rotate" in the dialog box.
"Corrective" is handy if you want to align horizontal or vertical lines: select 'image+grid" in the "preview" box, then align the grid with vertical and/or horizontal lines.
If you want to have the image automatically cropped after rotating, you should previously select "crop to result" in the "clipping" box. But sometimes it does not work (if you are running out of memory, I suppose, the image disappears). In that case, just undo and select "clip". You will have to crop the image with the "Crop" tool when you are done with rotating.
