Uma vez, parei numa casa parecida com esta, na Vendinha, Reguengos de Monsaraz, cheio(s) de sede, lá saíram umas "mines" de Sagres e à pergunta - arranja-se alguma coisa para petiscar? - respondeu o amigo; só presunto nº5...Ok venha de lá o petisco...
Pois o nº 5 mais não era que pão alentejano cortado como peças de dominó, com uma fatia de toucinho e uma lasca de alho crú em cima, mais duas ou três pedras de sal. Nunca mais me esqueci...de como com coisas simples se faz uma bela iguaria.
