He still walks with a stick Isabel. The pain is not so bad in the daytime but he has to take painkillers to get a good night's sleep. The coughing is so bad for your ribs....I hope it soon stops.

I send you this link with home remedies of dry cough perhaps you know them already, but if not, perhaps it may help...

Thanks a lot Christa, it is very complete indeed but doesn’t bring anything new to me. The dry cough has been an issue since over 20 years but worsened significantly after the covid vaccine and I had all kind of tests made but nothing ever came positive. Even tested for Tropical diseases as lived in Africa in the 80’s. Another clue is dysfagia, have an appointment August 31st with family doctor…

Simple, but really lovely architecture........I love the contrasting door and the stone archway.

My thoughts and sympathy are still with you Isabel............I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the light at the end of the tunnel will appear soon :-)

Get well quickly. It is awful no to feel well. I hardly go out now, but find new things to photograph in my little apartment. Do you work with Photoshop?

I have photoshop elements but I use it mostly to give tittle before transfer to external drives and crop or light correction, but I don’t enjoy editing. I am from the old school, started to photograph I was 8 years old. I try to think my photo before shooting and do it in manual mode as if I had a film and not waste it. Of course now I shoot sometimes more than one time the same subject, but not much.
These days I am too much in pain to feel like hunting in my apartment…

We have a saying - "it never rains but it pours" and you certainly do seem to be stuck under a very dark cloud. I've got everything, fingers, toes, legs, arms, eyes, crossed that you'll be feeling well soon.

As for your archives - I'm well happy to look to look at your wonderful images for ages but hope that it will be new captures again, very soon.

Obrigada Maggs, a dark cloud indeed, strange how you can be so well and fit and suddenly all is washed away. Some days I cry of despair.
Docs said 6 to 8 weeks at least, 5 done… but I am tired with cough and constant pain, even if It reduced a bit…

Bronchitis is no fun, but it is not permanent. You will get better.

Bronchitis is over… but replaced by dry cough, even worse. Already 5 painful weeks… how many ahead I don’t know…

I too always have a hard time getting rid of my cough.

Seems many people have this issue… my problem is that ribs cannot heal from the injure while I cough… and it is very painful.

Bronchitis and dry coughs are awful, they takes ages but eventually the cough will go. You probably can't stand the smell and taste of cough drops and teas...
