St. Martini (PiP)
Die Martinikirche in Minden. Das Fachwerkhaus wird Windloch genannt. Es ist eines der kleinsten Häuser in Minden.
Um 1029 wurde mit dem Bau der Kirche begonnen. Der heute älteste Teil der Kirche wurde nach zwei Bränden zwischen 1261 und1262 gebaut. Im 14. Jahrhundert wurde das Langhaus zur gotischen Hallenkirche umgestaltet.

A lovely capture of this beautiful church Wilhelm..........I love the colour of the stonework and the fact you can see where it has been repaired over the years. A lovely old streetlamp as well.

The little half-timbered house is very attractive............I like the closer view in the PiP. I also like the arched wooden door of the church.

Wohnraum war früher in befestigten Städten knapp. Im 17. Jahrhundert wohnte in dem Haus der Stadtmusiker.
