Pink Cockatoo (visit my previous image at PiP2 for more details) landing on a fence with a paddymelon snack. I was very pleased to capture these images, as these birds are uncommon and have recently been listed as "vulnerable". Best viewed large. Wishing everyone a Happy Fence Friday and a great weekend.

Dieses Insekt schwirrt zur Zeit in einen großen Schwarm umher,es sind vor allem Männchen,die damit die Weibchen anlocken wollen,die Fühler der Männchen sind fast 4 fach größer,als ihr Körper,man braucht fast 2 Aufnahmen,um das Insekt drauf zu bekommen,grinssss,die Weibchen haben kürzere Fühler Pip1-3: verschiedene Ansichten des Insektes This insect is currently buzzing around in a large swarm, it is mainly males that want to attract the females with it, the antennae of the males are almost 4 times larger than their bodies, you need almost 2 shots to get the insect on it, grinssss, the females have shorter antennae. Pip1-3: different views of the insect Cet insecte vole actuellement dans un grand essaim, ce sont surtout les mâles qui veulent ainsi attirer les femelles, les antennes des mâles sont presque 4 fois plus grandes que leur corps, il faut presque 2 photos pour obtenir l'insecte, grinssss, les femelles ont des antennes plus courtes.
