Spring Blossom

Spring Blossom
I'm pretty sure this one is Cherry Blossom and the one in the PiP is Blackthorn, but I'm happy to be proved wrong if anyone knows different :-))

Go large...........

Ernest CH, Gudrun, Berny, homaris and 19 other people have particularly liked this photo

I tend to look for the thorns on blackthorn but can't see any on either.
I like both shots anyway and both are probably prunus, but I'm no blossom expert!.

Both gorgeous blossom pictures Keith. The flowers are very similar aren't they! I never tire of spring blossom pictures and I love the blurred background in these two.

I went shopping in Yeovil today Keith and the only queue was outside Primark! Good job I wanted M&S :-))

You could be right about that Keith. They are all out just now. Hawthorne also looks similar but its too soon yet. Great captures here.

Like Andy I look for the thorns on blackthorn but all blossom is beautiful and quite a few look very similar. These two are lovely and it goes without saying that you have captured them perfectly.

Whatever they are, Keith, they are both a beautiful reminder of spring. We have a long while to wait for our turn to see spring blossom.
