Thanks David. Indeed, there are a lot of Belgian abbey beers.
By the way, abbey beer is brewed by a brewery that has a link with the abbey, whether this be its location, the use of ancestral monastic recipes or even a licence issued to a brewer by the monks in days gone by. The brewery must then give the Abbey a say and pay royalties to the Abbey whose name it bears.

Danke B&K, bei uns auch. Diese Abtei hier ist heute Rathaus, Ausstellungsräume und Postbüro. Nur in der Abteikirche dient auch heute noch als Gemeindekirche. Ein schönes WE.

Thanks Diana. Today the old abbey has lost its initial function and became a town hall, that is why the building is well maintained. The former abbey church is the parish church today. Have a nice week.
