Denn, hier steht der Schatten bei 14:00h - das Foto wurde aber um 15:10h gemacht :-))))))))

Sonnenuhr neben der 'Torhalle'.
Die Karolingische Torhalle eines der ältesten Gebäude Bayerns findet sich auf der Fraueninsel im Chiemsee und dienste einst als Zugang zum Kloster.
Der Name der Fraueninsel leitet sich ab vom ältesten Nonnenkloster Deutschlands, das 772 vom Bayernherzog Tassilo III. gegründet wurde. Die erste namentlich bekannte Äbtissin ist die selige Irmengard (gest. 866), deren Gebeine im Münster verehrt werden.

As for the time change, it's just a convention, like the switch to the Euro! Like many people, I still have the reflex of converting prices to Francs - to Marks in your case :-)
