Der "Spiegeleiweg" führt vom Schwimmbad in Obernkirchen auf den Bückeberg zum Gasthaus Walter (hier ist ein Ausgangspunkt bei der Glasfabrik getaggt) Unterwegs ist auch der historische Friedhof Uhlenbruch www.obernkirchen-info.de/archiv/sz060405.pdf oder das Portal eines Kohlebergbaustollens zu sehen.

Die Fichte (Picea abies) wird bis zu 600 Jahre alt; geerntet wird zwischen 100 und 120 Jahren. Höhe 30 bis 60 mtr. Anteil an der deutschen Waldfläche 28 Prozent. Die Bäume sind anspruchslos, schnell wachsend, das Holz ist langfasrig weich und hell. Die Fichte ist anfällig für Trockenheit, Sturm, Rotfäule oder Borkenkäfer.
