Hi Gudrun
A wonderful and interesting aurora pictures, which I like very much!
I have seen from an airplane, but never on the ground, and never as pretty as this...
Best Wishes, a nice week ahead, and stay safe!!

Thanks a lot, Peter! Auroras always look greener through the camera lens- just physics;-)

This must rank as one of the best Auroras you have experienced, Gudrun. Absolutely wonderful with the starry sky too..

Thanks very much, Amelia! It was quite lovely but not one the most active auroras and mostly just green. The stars were really fantastic.

A stunning auroral image and night sky, Gudrun. I'm impressed that you were able to get this lack of trailing and movement on a longish exposure from the ship,

Thank you so much, George! That was the calmest trip I ever had! The "worst" was 6Bft one evening with the wind pushing us- hardly noticeable at all;-)
But of course I deleted quite a few attempts that weren't as clear as I would have wished....
