London Lighthouse

The Lighthouse, in Trinity Buoy Wharf, built in 1864. Never used to aid navigation but to experiment and develop lighting equipment for the Trinity House network of lighthouses, lightships and buoys. It was the place where the scientist Michael Faraday conducted his optical experiments, and was also a vital resource for the training of lighthouse personnel.

Lightship 95

Once a beacon, at South Goodwin Sands off the Kentish coast, it is now a recording studio moored at Trinity Buoy Wharf in the Docklands. One of three (550 tonnes!) steel-hulled vessels, built in 1939 to the same design, it features a central light tower and originally had crew quarters.

Aqua Gill

One of many steampunk contraptions sprinkled around Trinity Buoy Wharf. This one has 'Aqua Gill' inscribed at the front... not sure if that is the name of the piece...

Container City

From the Trinity Buoy Wharf website: 'The original Container City™ project, Container City 1 was completed in 2001. The building was initially three-storeys high, providing 12 work studios across 446m2. A fourth floor was added in 2003 to accommodate three more live/work apartments.'
