Dim Sum (HTT and H.A.N.W.E.)

Dim Sum (HTT and H.A.N.W.E.)
Some delicious dim sum.

Taken at an excellent Chinese restaurant in San Antonio, Texas. When we have the chance, we enjoy this style of food.

Dumplings on the left, sticky rice on the right.

Taken with the fixed 20mm f1.7 lens on the micro 4/3's Panasonic GX85 camera.

I've never eaten Chinese food like this. My local Chinese take-away don't do things like that - I'd have to sit down in the restaurant for that. As I'm housebound, that makes it difficult.

You might ask the local restaurant if they do "dumplings", "sticky rice", "long rice noodle" (they are actually very wide), shu mai, "yum cha" (generic term). Here in the U. S. we can buy dumplings in the freezer section of the supermarket, easy to prepare from there. And, egg rolls are also an offering at Dim Sum. Those should be available pretty much anywhere (or in the freezer section).

Dim Sum is such a specialty that only a few Chinese restaurants offer it regularly. We've enjoyed this style all over the world. Hong Kong is supposed to have the best such restaurants, but we've also eaten in Auckland, NZ, Sydney, Aus, Honolulu, Hawaii, New York City, New Jersey, San Francisco (of course), Minneapolis, Singapore, London, etc.

Ça a l'air tellement bon..Durant mon séjour en Europe janvier dernier j'avais fréquenté beaucoup de restaurants Chinois mais à volonté je dois dire qu'il y avait l'embarras du choix.
Bonne et agréable fin de soirée.
