Fishing Cove in winter

I've oft told of this being an officially designated nudist beach but ever since it became 'official' the nudists stayed away. They would certainly have to be dedicated to venture down there on this bitterly cold day!

Well I suppose now that their "secret place" has been informed to all and sundry, they are probably a tad annoyed. No doubt searching along the coast, looking for another place. I hadn't realised how blue the sea was still. It's winter, and normally the sea is churned up and therefore murky - but this picture is showing the water as a beautiful clear turquoise. Thank you! Not bad for a fifteen year old but the sad and puzzling thing is that this was as innovative as he ever got! With age he settled for a fairly boring orthodoxy as though frightened to give free reign to a musical genius that was so obviously there, but latent!

There is a steep but perfectly safe path, George. It looks intimidating from the top but once you're on it you realise its apparent fierceness is simply an illusion! Whole families, from toddlers to grannies use it without mishap or even qualm!

Thank you, Eric. I heard the fact about the nudist beach from a National Trust volunteer tidying up the path. She said that it had been very poùlar with naturists due to its relative inaccessability. I had been walking on this path down to the beach for years and never knew it was a nudist beach (honest!).
