Burrowing Owl
The Burrowing Owl, also known as the Shoco, is a small, long-legged owl that lives in burrows it either excavates itself or borrows.
Snow Geese
These Snow Geese were photographed in the Sonny Bono National Wildlife Refuge at the south end of the Salton Sea in California.

Dinosaurs
These are more of the Sky Art Sculptures in the desert around the town of Borrego Spins, California. The two here are supposed to be an Allosaurus and a Carnotaurus.
Barrel Cactus and Ocotillo
Photographed in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park along the Hellhole Canyon trail, the cacti are Southwestern Barrel Cactus and the Ocotillo in front of them is a very young plant (they grow to be about fifteen feet tall). The smaller sunlit plant at the base of the cacti is a young Brittlebush.
