Eduardo.

I'll tell you a secret I never told to anyone else... this used to be my private paradise in the sixties. I used to go there with my lambretta (did you see the Who's film?) with a friend and camp there in summertime. Free camping of course or as the Frenchmen say wild camping. The place was absolutely desert. No houses, no roads (apart from a small dirty lane), no people in sight for miles... don't know if you like this situation but I do. And the nature was untouched, unspoiled. Then came the "developers" and built first an hotel, than a huge resort, roads, shops, discotheques, etc., now it's almost like a town... you regret how they destroyed good old England architecture, I regret how they destroyed a natural paradise on earth...
I stopped going there in summertime because I can't stand the sight of the swarms of tourists in that beach -which used to be my exclusive beach! (:-) - Only in wintertime I can find again a bit of what it used to be...

I feel your sadness, Skipper. It is happening everywhere. But the local people will say how wonderful it is that they have all these new jobs and money coming in. The Spanish Riviera was sleepy countryside not so long ago, and London's Heathrow airport was just a village. We cannot halt 'progress' until we start population control.
