I love Sidmouth :-) Almost went there on Sunday but decided on Seaton instead. Is Otterton the village that has a lovely mill? I'm sure I've been there. A beautiful overview Amelia.

A beautiful coastal image taking in the sweeping curve of the bay and the pleasantly quiet beach Amelia. What could be better? Good that you are making use of your bus passes. I haven't applied for one yet but guess I should do at some point, and at least before they decide to find a way to stop them in another round of cost cutting exercises!!!

I’ve got a Wise Person’s railcard as well as a bus pass. Taunton to Plymouth return for well less than the price of petrol if I’d gone by road, and certainly more relaxing!

There's two of us, Maggs, and even with a railcard, it's still a lot cheaper by car, plus our public transport in the village is appalling. A bus every 2 hours into Shrewsbury or Oswestry, and the service stops at 6.15 p.m.
