We are hiking on a beautiful summer day
we are in high spirits – when suddenly -
this monstrosity with its immense
octopus-like arms and fingers appears.
The air is slightly hazy
brought about by the emerging fluids.
Like a flash, I am aware:
'So, this is how easy and irresponsible
it is to apply
liquid fertilizer or pesticides'
And then I remembered,
that I’d read :
Farmers should wear gas masks when doing this kind of work since their health could be damaged.

! And this is where our crops grow !

Again, I realize that:

Precise - effective – profitable,
but above all
'growth-orientated'
and thereby
in a dangerous way
short-sighted and dumb

we are working towards our demise in diverse ways.

For the first time - probably -
humanity is aware
of its responsibility for the entire planet.

Horrible, but true:
