Since joining Ipernity, I have been most impressed by the HDR images posted on this web-site. I have begun experimenting with HDR, but without using a tripod. My images are the result of attempting to hold the camera in one position whilst taking pairs of photos at different exposures. At first, I used the Photomatix programme in its trial version, which produces pictures with a Photomatix watermark. Now, I am experimenting with a free software package called QTPFSGUI . What you walk on can often be very interesting visually. There is much art in laying paving stones, and often there are fascinating patterns to be recorded. I wish to make the background of my home-page transparent so that the icons and messages appear to be floating on my background picture. Is there any way to do this?

I cannot seem to find a way of voting for a favourite if I view someone else's pictures. Where am I agoing wrong - am I missing something somewhwere?
