More Tears for France...

Que peut-on dire quand le terrorisme semble exclure le jour? Où sont les dirigeants qui peuvent faire quelque chose à ce sujet? Est-il n'y a personne qui peut arrêter les groupes terroristes comme ISIS dans sa pistes?
Mon cœur pleure pour les citoyens et les touristes qui ont perdu la vie lors d'un autre acte insensé de terreur à Nice, France. Je suis malade de pleurer et malade d'être en colère et impuissant en voyant les méchants gagner tout le temps.

Nous devons mettre un terme à cette folie, ou la civilisation telle que nous la connaissons cessera d'exister.

Mein Herz schmerzt für die Bürger und Touristen, die ihr Leben während eines anderen sinnlosen Akt des Terrors in Nizza, Frankreich verloren. Ich bin es satt, zu weinen und satt die bösen Jungs gewinnen die ganze Zeit zu sehen, wütend und hilflos zu sein.

Wir müssen ein Ende dieser Wahnsinn setzen, oder die Zivilisation, wie wir sie aufhören zu existieren wissen.

Mi corazón se aflige por los ciudadanos y los turistas que perdieron sus vidas durante otro acto sin sentido de terror en Niza, Francia. Estoy harto de llorar y enfermo de estar enojado e impotente al ver que los malos ganen todo el tiempo.

Hay que poner fin a esta locura, o la civilización tal como la conocemos dejará de existir.

I share your questions, Val. The insanity of life right now is mind boggling. You have to wonder what the younger generations will make of all this.

You are right, it seems that the world is insane right now. I feel bad for the coming generations who must inherit the results of all this violence.

The terrorists won't win in the end. Such another tragedy. I don't care what anybody says, but that is not a religion. That is just cowardice and love of violence.

Katja, was soll ich denken soll, wenn die Medien berichtet, dass die "islamistischen Staat" die Verantwortung für die Nizza Angriff behauptet, und der Fahrer war der nahöstlichen Abstieg und unterzog sich "rasche Radikalisierung"?

The last straw came many years ago..... the few have always murdered the many.

The only way that will change is if we stop seeing race /creed/colour and start seeing HUMANITY.

We have to start at square one and bring the children up differently. I was brought up not to see race/creed/colour.... many were... so its doable.

Also I agree with Katja above..... the idiots jump on the bandwagon.. and the terror groups do nothing to distance those claims naturally... so the media has to learn to be more responsible too.

Also.. "social media" is in grave danger in many cases of spreading fear and rumour.

Pam, I'm going to ask you the same thing I asked Katja; what am I supposed to think when the news media reports that the "Islamist State" claims responsibility for the Nice attack, and the driver was of middle eastern descent and underwent "swift radicalization"?

I agree 100% that we must guard ourselves from jumping to conclusions. But when news media tells me that the truck driver of the Nice attack was a radicalized person of middle eastern decent, and that the "Islamist State" claims responsibility for the attack, am I to not believe what I'm reading for fear that I might seem biased against Muslims?

We must learn to disinguish the difference between a person of the Muslim faith and a person of the radical Islamist belief system.

Also, regarding why I put a lot of the onus on government leaders to do something about it: these aren't just merely random acts of terror, these are acts of war committed by members of a political ideology who mean to wipe anyone off the face of the earth who disagrees with their belief system. As such, it is necessary for the government to protect its citizens against such attacks.

I blame greediness of human kind. Someone bought and still buys oil from ISIS. Someone sold and still sells weapons to them. It is of course impossible to point out anyone particular in the chain of smuggling. First one who buys the oil directly from ISIS very likely accepts their "holy war". Next one in the chain may guess where the oil comes, but closes the eyes. And same thing it is the other way round when it comes to weapons. First one who sells the weapon in black market may guess where the weapon ends, but closes the eyes in greed.

Thank you for your perspective on this issue, Sami. You may have just touched on why our government leaders are so hesitant to do everything it takes to decisively fight Islamic terrorism. ;-)

I say blaming "islamic terrorism" is not very accurate. It is almost natural to try find some easy-to-identify enemy to blame. However, there is and always has been "madmen" (and even women), who have been driven into the corner, became berserk, and done the "amok".

I claim it is the inability in most of the societies to do the preventing work, which should at least minimize people become traumatized by such things as poverty, abuse and deceases (especially mental).

For example here in Finland one psychologist currently speaks about "white rage", which is caused by such things as continuous bullying (in schools) or abuse (e.g. child abuse). As a result the victim starts to blame the whole system, and finally the person may in "white, cool anger" do something like school attack. According their logic there are no innocents because no one has done anything to help them to avoid the long lasted abuse.

So, of course terrorist organization like ISIS wants to claim all the credit on every possible attack. But ISIS only abuse those who feel ill already, and give them excuses to "burn their anger and frustration".

And then the question is: "Why do we have any sort of abuse in our society?"

I again say it is the greed. We want more, and we want it now. So, for example in Finland, many parents both go to work, they want to earn as much as possible by doing long hours, leaving not enough time for their kids. And because there are always some greedy persons who think nothing but their own good, there will be always those who abuse the week ones.

And that is the way how I see the world is, unfortunately... And that is why I think we need to find a way to become less greedy, and find more time to speak with each other, to get to know each other better, and have fun together (meaning that everyone has fun) =)
