------------

The majority of my images are "all rights reserved" but in the case of use by charitable organisations I am willing to waive this and allow publication given that the image is attributed to me and copyright is retained.

I also have no issue with others using my images for personal use, as long as my copyright is respected .

------------

Most of my images contain GPS location information and are fully tagged with pertinent information, [Camera and IPTC Metadata] as the club policy is to display metadata to either Me or everyone I do not display it by default but can always provide this on request.

*Friends are enabled to download the original by default so should have full access to this data if they require it, but I have since refreshed all my images with the location data included, which means that images will show correctly on Open Streetmap within the site and Keep the use of the Google API down to a minimum

For Tagging GPS Location. The location shown is the camera position rather than the subject position, so that you With landscapes and other similar image types, can go to the GPS coordinates given and recapture your own version of the image.

I use Jeffrey Friedl 's Ipernity Plugin which allows me control of the image management from within Lightroom Classic, and I can thoroughly recommend this to anyone using lightroom and Ipernity - It is not free but is donationware with a low limit of 1 US cent ! - ] regex.info/blog/lightroom-goodies/ipernity]

Occupation: ICT Consultant

Interests:

I have a professional Interest in all things tech, but I have a private passion for all things in Nature. I am a long time Birder but have a much wider interest scope too, so expect anything from the natural world and the wider world to appear over time.

Some of the images included in my albums are of birds or other wildlife that are rare or unusual in my local area, these images may be of a lower quality than I would like but I feel that they are worthy of inclusion due to their content.

Unfortunately health issues have curtailed my trips into the wild, somewhat, over the last few years, and thus my photography, but I have a large back catalogue that is awaiting "processing" so even if I cannot get out as much as I would like, I should be able to provide a regular flow of new images.

Favorite music and artists:

Many and varied

Favorite books and authors:

Afraid most are technical manuals but have been known to pick up a Sci-Fi Novel or two in my time
