There is little left to be seen of this tomb stone’s text, but a tragedy must have occurred: Franz Hi[...] *28.1.190[...] ermordet (=murdered) Part of me would want to know the story behind it, part prefers the mystery as it is... [Edit: I know now that this is the grave of Franz Hilz, killed in a pub fight in 1932.]

A funerary procession leaving from the farm of the Pischeltsrieder family. The flag covering the coffin seemed to date the event between 1933 and 1945, but later I learned it was the burial of Franz Hilz, a worker at the farm and a member of the SA, who was killed in a pub fight in 1932.
