There’s a cue at the entrance of San Vitale and the mausoleum of Galla Placidia.
That gives me some leisure to finish the third part of my big phantasy novel. It is basically about the struggle between Good and Evil. There’s a lot of magic in it, and lengthy dialogues in the Language of Yore (perfunctorily translated in footnotes), and names you’ll never manage to pronounce right, and Earth Monsters who willingly serve the Bad King and who, eventually, must be defeated. The hero is an adolescent dwarf who, in the course of the story, grows to manhood, and learns to ride elves with pointed ears.
Well, I’m reluctant to betray too much; buy it as soon as it reaches your bookstore.
Once it is completed, there will be twelve volumes of at least 600 pages each. This is something I’ve learned from Joanne Rowling: never say there’ll only be seven volumes –that’s asking for trouble.
An AlphaSmart Accessory 2

This is a “Handy Table” (as the box calls it), and it’s handy especially for AlphaSmart writers who can afford to spend most of the summer in their gardens –using a Palm folēo they couldn’t even think of it.
It can easily be adjusted in height and inclination, and is stable enough to carry the AlphaSmart itself and a pair of resting hands. In horizontal position, the generous plastic table top may, in addition, accommodate a chocolate bar or an ash tray.
I don’t know the country of origin, but given the price (about US$13) it could be China. If it actually is, it would nicely match the latest generation of Neos.

[EDIT: The picture was especially shot for the AlphaSmart Group on Flickr. However, it also seems to have aroused some interest with gamers who believed to recognize a High Elf... Weird! ]

Neoprene Case

This is why the AlphaSmart neoprene case isn‘t an ideal solution for the AS3000 model: the ports stick out.
It may be possible to close the zippers, if you try, but expect having to replace the case, or the zippers, every other week...
