The tower may seem to come down any moment, but this isn’t Pisa... The picture was taken from below with a wide-angle lens ... let’s say it’s an hommage to German expressionist movies from the 20ies...

Trier again. On the left the towers of Trier Cathedral.

A typical “Saluti da Ferrara” shot. Could be sharper, I know, but it was pretty dark, and the camera was hand-held...

On our way back from the Netherlands we stopped for one day at the venerable town of Trier where some expositions celebrated the Roman emperor Constantine the Great. Don’t ask me if they were worthwhile: I wasn’t in them –dogs weren’t allowed.
