Keith Burton's photos with the keyword: grey heron

I was sitting on a bench adjacent to the Mill Pond at Langstone Harbour, camera in hand, watching the world go by, when I noticed some children pointing upwards the sky above my head. Looking up I saw this Grey Heron and just had time to swing the camera upwards and back to grab this shot. I was quite pleased with it given the circumstances.

I managed to grab a shot of this Grey Heron as it took off from the duck pond in the village of Buriton, Nr Petersfield in Hampshire.

Taken at Langstone Mill Pond, Hampshire. This is a large crop and shows the same Heron from my previous image. The quality isn't great, but as a record shot I'm happy with it.
