View from Train to Bechyne, Bohemia (CZ), 2008

I took a number of black and white landscapes on the way to Bechyne, simply because Tri-X was what I had in my camera, and not all of them were bad. This is one of my favorites.

This green landscape, taken from Stepanka, is one of the weirdest and most wonderful landscapes I've ever taken anywhere. The green is phenomenal, as you can see, more or less unnatural, and I still to this day don't know why it came out this way. The rest of this roll of film was totally normal.
Karlstejn Signalbox, Central Bohemia(CZ), 2006

So...is it a landscape, or is it a "railway photo?" I have no idea. I like it, though, so I decided to post it even if it doesn't fit easily into any particular category.
River Sazava, Bohemia(CZ), 2005

I recently had a Photo CD made of one of my black and white rolls, and regretted it, as the scans were horrible. This one was an exception, though, even if I'm not particularly fond of black and white landscapes. Even if I'm not Ansel Adams, I actually like it. It's of the River Sazava (if I'm not mistaken), although quite a few kilometers south of Prague. I took this from a steam excursion train on Linka (mainline) 210 from Praha Branik-Cercany(or Dobris). Of course, if this is really the Vltava, somebody please correct me, but I'm pretty sure it's the Sazava.
Josefuv Dul, Liberecky Kraj, Bohemia(CZ), 2006

This was a landscape that I attempted from one of the mountains (hills?) surrounding Josefuv Dul. The sun was setting, illuminating the church and village, although in this shot the church is of course dominant and center.
Ben Nevis, Scotland, UK, 2003

Ben Nevis is the tallest mountain in Britain, and I've always liked this photo so much that I've included it, in spite of the bad scan. This mountain is so tough to climb that it's used to train British commando units like the SAS.

took this on my way up Grosser Priel, approaching Welser Hutte, just visible to the left at the top. This was already high enough so that we were above the treeline and in the snow.
Clouds On Grosser Priel, Welser Hutte, The Alps, A…

After hiking part of the way up Grosser Priel in the dark and the rain the first day (or night, rather), and in the daylight the second day (not the original plan but...), we slept in Welser Hutte, waking up to this spectacular scene of clouds lying low on what are by no means low mountains. My friends climbed to the summit on this day, although I had to give up rather quickly for safety reasons, as I'm no expert, so Welser Hutte was again a refuge for me. We climbed down immediately afterwards, in better weather and in daylight.

I took this mainly for the Fall colors, although I waited until now to post it! I hope you like it. :-)

I did a shot shoot when I was in Parc Bute, or Bute Park, Cardiff's main park, and part of this involved shooting some mediocre landscapes. :-) This one is perhaps my favorite, and I still may post-process it a little bit. I just don't have the time right now.
View From Rip, Bohemia(CZ), 2006

Here's another view from Rip, giving a better idea of the expansive view that you can get from it. In honesty, though, the summit isn't the best place. This is actually the side of the mountain, where there are fewer trees in the way, as even in the Fall, when I went, the summit's view is obscured by the trees that cover it.
