On the edge of the canyons of the river Ugar I picked grass "iva" (Teucrium montanum), grows in dry, warm and rocky places, mostly at altitudes of about 800 m and more. It mostly grows on the south sides.It has an extremely bitter and astringent taste. People have unlimited confidence in the healing properties of this small plant and suffice it to mention the well-known saying: "Teucrium montanum from a dead man he makes a living man" Properties of ive grass: • acts against bacteria and fungi • helps with stomach diseases • reduces inflammation • is a strong antioxidant • helps with depression • regulates digestion • removes excess fluid from the body • is used to treat respiratory diseases • strengthens immunity • helps with hemorrhoids and diabetes • cleanses the body
