B 24 Liberator "Rag-A-Das:, album created on 16 Apr 2023
Pictures of the B24 Liberator that my father flew on during WWII. During a mission, on 27 December 1944 the aircraft directly ahead of Rag-A-Das was struck by a German "88" anti-aircraft round and blew up. Rag-A-Das flew through the resulting fireball resulting in the damage shown. They completed the mission and safely landed at base.
