About this group
As it suits you, write freely in this concise poetic form, which originated in Japan. A haiku consists of one vertical 17-syllable line containing three phonetic parts of 5, 7 and 5 syllables. Composed in simple language, it usually describes nature; often details which people scarcely notice. A haiku only describes, it doesn't comment or judge. In that way, it invites meditation. Traditionally, a haiku does not bear a title.
