Failure to upload from Flickr with duplication of some images

I am finding that when I upload a batch of, say, ten images from Flickr, four of them fail to appear but four others are duplicated. I am subsequently able to upload the missing ones without difficulty. Does anyone have any idea why this happens? I am using Google Chrome.
