This is more for the "I wonder" type of question, and not the "How do I".
You are welcome to post a question, which may be included in this top post.
I hope there will be translations in due course, when things are in a more settled state.

1. Is it a game or a contest?
I suppose the real question is whether it is a serious contest.
A serious contest would have a panel of judges, and a prize,
so clearly this is a game, for fun, but that does not mean ignoring the rules, or behaving badly.
And while a game, that does not exclude useful lessons being learnt.
And as with any group, it can be a route to making new friends.
2. Why is there a limit on the number of photos in a contest?
Having too many photos to study and vote on, can be tiring, and some people might tend to rush, and the whole management becomes cumbersome.
3. Why does the group rule say, "2 contributions per month allowed"?
This is to allow for the possible overlap since the previous photo was added.
If the setting was only "1 per month", and the interval after adding the previous photo, is less than 30 days, for example from 8 January, to 2 February, the system would prevent the second photo being added in February, until the 8th.
To confirm, the contest rule is "1 photo, per person, per monthly contest".
4. How should I view the photos to make my selection?
The photos can be viewed on the contribution pages, with either the "Small" or "Medium" view options, but only to get an overview.
To properly judge each photo, it is best to use the "Lightbox view", and to enjoy the photos full size.
For the ones that you think deserve a vote, you need to make a note of their entry number, (mouse-over the photo to make the title appear, which will have the # entry number), either on paper or in computer document.
You will then have a list of entry numbers. You do have to vote for a specific number of photos, so you may either have to select further photos, or you have to decide which ones to drop from your vote.
You could open each photo in a separate tab in your browser, and thus refine your choices. By locating each photo in the "Small" or "Medium" contributions pages, a right-click on the photo should provide the option to open in a new tab.

If there are 80 photos, you vote for 8, why should some people be allowed to only vote for 5 or 6? And then there are some who would like to vote for more.

Credo che la vera domanda sia se è un vero concorso.
Un vero concorso avrebbe dei giudici e un premio,
perciò questo è un gioco, per divertimento, ma che non vuol dire ignorare le regole o comportarsi male.
E pur essendo un gioco ciò non esclude che si possano imparare utili lezioni.
E come per ogni gruppo può essere un modo per farsi nuovi amici.
2. Perchè c’è un limite al numero di foto in un contest?
Avere troppe foto da studiare e per cui votare può essere stancante, qualcuno può diventare superficiale e questo può diventare scomodo per il gruppo dei moderatori.
3. Perchè la regola del gruppo dice “ammessi 2 contributi al mese”?
Questo serve nel caso di sovrapposizione dal momento in cui la foto precedente è stata aggiunta.
Se nelle impostazioni ci fosse “1 al mese” e l’intervallo dopo l’entrata della prima foto fosse meno di 30 giorni, per esempio dall’8 gennaio al 2 febbraio, il sistema impedirebbe alla seconda foto di essere aggiunta in febbraio, fino al giorno 8.
In ogni caso la regola del gioco è sempre “1 foto per persona per ogni contest mensile”.
4. Come si possono vedere le foto per fare la nostra selezione?
Le foto si possono vedere nella pagina dei contributi, con l’opzione “piccolo” o “medio”, ma solo per vedere la pagina intera .
Per giudicare meglio ogni foto la cosa migliore è usare la vista “Lightbox” (slideshow) (o cliccare sulla foto) per vedere la foto a grandezza naturale.
Per quelle che si pensa meritino un voto fare una nota dei numeri di entrata (passare il mouse sulla foto per far apparire il titolo, che avrà anche il numero di entrata) su un foglio o su un documento nel computer.
Si avrà così una lista di numeri di entrata. Si dovrà votare per un numero specifico di foto, perciò si dovranno selezionare ulteriori foto, oppure decidere quali eliminare dalla lista.
Usando il destro del mouse su ogni foto nella pagina delle foto piccole o medie si possono aprire le foto in una tab separata e quindi raffinare la scelta.
5. Perchè si devono usare tutti i voti a disposizione?
Se ci sono 80 foto si voterà per 8 foto, perché qualcuno dovrebbe avere la possibilità di votare per 5 o 6? E poi c’è sempre qualcuno che vorrebbe votare per più foto.
E’ una regola, a qualcuno andrà bene ad altri no.

New this month is a Voting Machine to help you view and select your choices.
There is a a Help(?) in the top set of menu buttons.
Because of the restricted access to larger image sizes at an external site,it is recommended that you use the Lighbox view on the contributions page, (found beside the icons for small or large options), to enjoy a full screen view of all the entries first.
Using the voting machine makes reducing your initial likes, to a final selection, that bit easier.
franco benf club has replied to Adriana ADiciamo che non ci sono restrizioni sulle foto per partecipare a questo CWP , a meno che non vengano specificate inizialmente ,credo che una buona valutazione venga sempre data dai votanti alla fine
