for SC128 - Post 5 January - Stillife with fruit www.ipernity.com/group/daysincolour365 The pomegranate tree was cultivated in ancient times by the Phoenicians, Greeks and Egyptians. The importance of its fruit - the pomegranate - goes back thousands of years, appearing in biblical texts associated with passions and fertility, and was also considered by the Greeks to be a symbol of love and fertility. This one is a miniature one I have in a pot, usually fruits are edible between September and December.

For Ressoumission 2063 group www.ipernity.com/group/2800296 In the village 80% of us are over 70 years old. In 2063 we will no longer be there. Guess the village will “die” and this kind of gatherings will no more exist.
