Obrigada, I was not happy with the light... should have been there in the morning but I was just passing by, spent a couple of hours there and as I was with friends that where taking me for a tour ...I had no choice

A fine monument to these homes. I have seen similar homes in sliff walls and caves on our travels in France too.

I hope the cliffs remain stable, Isabel. It would be such a disaster if there was a landslip here. All three photos are very atmospheric.

Seems inhabited since centuries, there are other caves appearing a lot older.

Que local extraordinário. E que fotos...*****

O local é sem dúvida. Pena não ter podido escolher a hora para ter umas fotos mais luminosas, sem este contraluz brutal. Mas como disse mais acima tinha ido a França visitar amigos que me levaram a passeios, não sendo fotógrafos eles não tiveram em conta o problema da luz e, claro, eu mostrei-me agradecida e escondi a minha frustração!

They are built right into the cliffs, amazing! in the heat the houses must be nice and cool.
