Hinds Pumping Plant (7914)
This must be the highest point of the aqueduct. Ground level is about 1,300 feet (or so) and the pumps at Hinds raise the water up more than 400 feet, so we should be above 1,700 feet here where the water enters the tunnel that goes through the Little San Bernardinos and behind Desert Hot Springs.
