Święto Konstytucji 3 Maja is a Polish national and public holiday that takes place on 3rd May. (...) The Constitution of May 3, 1791 is considered one of the most important achievements in the history of Poland. (...) In modern Poland, this day, free from work, sees many parades, exhibitions, concerts and public figure speeches....
I am not able to participate in those celebrations today so I bring here some memories :)

She was seconded by Frenchmen, Germans (Prussians) and forces from all around Europe. They retaliated and four years later Poland lost its sovereignty for 123 long years.

Now those costumes come back and are used during all sorts of official/public and private events!
