Thanks for this delightful suggestion for the group " # Frontpage Photography # ", limone. :)

I see the problem rather in the direction of the cute rodent's gaze than in the graining, because the latter can possibly be masked by an abstraction of the image. But it would have to be clarified with Bernhard whether such a treatment of the picture is desirable.

Because of a corresponding processing, I want to ask him anyway, so that hopefully we will soon have clarity. Until then. I'll leave the image as a suggestion.

thank you :-)

I can try to cut out and to mirror the rabbit as a single object - mirroring the whole image won't work due to the needed amount of space in the right part of the image. will try and put it here in the comments later. (edit: tried a little but am not sure if my gimp skills are sufficient to isolate the rabbit, mirror it and paste it back into the background... might take a while.)

I like the original better though, because in the original the bunny "drags" the viewer with its eyes to the slogan since it looks to the right where the slogan is (contrary to where its nose points to). In the mirrored version below the bunny with its look somehow drags the view away from the slogan, IMHO. In first (original) version, when you look the bunny into the eye, you are taken to the right half of the image. In second (mirrored) version, you are taken to the left half of the image, when looking the bunny into the eye.

Wow, you're fast, limone! :))

Very well observed! If you can see both pictures in a direct comparison, the difference is obvious (of course, this is partly due to the size of the rabbit and partly to its proximity to the slogan).

In this case, if you take the rabbit looking to the left, you get in addition the impression that it is actually looking for something, for example, a filled Easter basket. This gives the picture a special kick.

Please let's wait and see what Bernhard means - also because of a creative (abstract ?) processing of the image.

Thank you for your annotation and for your effort.
