Ja, dabei handelt es sich in der Tat um das Treppenhaus.
Die Waren wurden allerdings außen am Gebäude per Seilwinde / Kran nach oben gezogen und dann durch offene Wände - vermutlich dort, wo nun Balkone angesetzt wurden - in das Gebäude gebracht (von den Fleeten aus). Mehr dazu im verlinkten Wikipedia-Artikel über die Speicherstadt. :)
