We don't hear the 'planes at all, as they are much too high and we rarely see them either.......this was unusual.

A great image Keith and wonderful patterns in the pip are the high altitude ones on the North Atlantic route they pass over here going North West but very high

To have that many, I would guess you are under a flight path to one of the major airports,
We are under trans Atlantic path and some mornings the sky is full of them, at the same time they worry about my little hybrid runabout ;-))))

We're not to far from Southampton airport.......but this was quite a rare sight for me. We see very very few 'planes or contrails normally.

I'll have to research whether we're under any flight paths. You make a good point about your little hybrid runabout. I think the same applies to the gigantic cruise vessels that have become so popular.

Bei mir sieht es fast ähnlich aus, die Wolken verschleiern die Sonne. Die Umwelt wird verschmutzt!!!!!
