Finding a Way Out

Finding a Way Out
This ivy has found a way out from behind these sheets of corrugated iron on the side of an old shed. I thought it looked very eye-catching against the old paint and rust.

A very nice but familiar scene, nicely captured.Keith,
The ivy contrasts with the corrugated iron rust perfectly and they are rather attractive leaves!
we live next to a large area that is totally left to wild life and the ivy flourishes.

I almost missed but I had to shelter under a tree when it rained and this shed was nearby.

Glad you like the resulting image. Thanks for your visit and generous comments as always Roger............greatly appreciated.

An advance party into the unknown the rest of the ivy will colonize the other side of the metal screen. An interesting image here Keith.

Keith Burton club has replied to Anton Cruz Carro club
I suspect the colonisation of the other side of the metal is well underway already Anton and this was just the over-spill.

Glad you found it interesting and thanks for your visit and comments.

Ivy can be really beautiful, but as you discovered it has to be carefully controlled. Years ago one of my friends let ivy grow all over the side of his house, and eventually the weight of it made it fall off.......and it took most of the rendering of the house with it,. It cost him a fortune to sort it out!

Klasse Aufnahme, Keith!
