Ich habe auch das gleiche Programm ON1 Photo RAW lieber Keith,hab es unten gelesen,es ist ja ein ganz tolles Programm,habe mal mit Luninar 2018 angefangen,aber Skylum hat das Programm damals nie richtig beendet,da bin ich dann 2020 auf ON1 gekommen und bin begeistert,ich fotografiere ja nur in RAW und bei meinen Makros hilft mir jetzt die neue Maskierung total,sie haben dieses Programm immer weiter entwickelt :))

It's an excellent piece of software and I've been using it for quite a few years now. I'm still on the 2023 version at the moment as I feel I don't need all the additional stuff for what I do, but I may reconsider that at some stage.

I can't get my head around Masking.........so I very rarely attempt it :-)))

Very effective Keith. How did you create the almost painted look? The subject of the photo also appears textured. Very cleverly produced.

In answer to your question.........I use a software program called ON1 to process my RAW photos. It has an Effect called Dynamic Contrast and within that is a Surreal setting...........this exaggerates the contrast and structure. I just dial that exaggeration back using the Opacity slider until I like the look. The effect is helped by my background which has a textured look to it. I also use F11 for max sharpness which also helps (and as I use a tripod, with a 12sec delay on the shutter, the longer shutter speed doesn't matter). Hope that helps :-))

Thanks for the explanation Keith. I’ve heard of ON1 but never tried it - Maybe I should give it a go, however it’s your skillset coupled with the software that produces brilliant shots like this one. I’m a long term user of Capture One Pro as my RAW editor.

You're welcome Ed. I started with Lightroom, which I used for years but I found ON1 much easier and more intuitive to use. I'm still on the 2023 version as the software got much more complicated from this year's update and the 2025 version looks even more complex.........with lots more AI related stuff. As the moment the earlier version does everything I need it to!

I'm pretty sure ON1 does a 30 day free trial if you wanted to have a look.

Ha, ha.............the syrup probably wouldn't be any good for the flowers, but they were thrown away after I got the shot. I didn't drink the syrup either.........that went down he drain :-))

Ach na ja, das passt schon so mit der Farbe! ;-) Ich finde es sieht sehr dekorativ aus. Kann man sich durchaus in der Wohnung an die Wand hängen, da wo es vielleicht passt!

Pink ist nicht unbedingt meine Lieblingsfarbe. Aber dieses Bild ist insofern gelungen, weil es nicht mehr nach einem Foto aussieht, sondern wie gemalt.
