Oh no -not grey squirrels! As I type this, ours is staring up towards the bird seeds. Yesterday, it bit through two strings of our newly stringed washing airer, as they interfered with its path to the best leaping off point towards the seeds. If I did not know better, I would almost call these pest :) - A great selection here. Well done.

HFF, enjoy the weekend.

What with foxes tipping over statues and now squirrels destroying our airer, what is the world coming to?

Busy time for the Squirrels Keith, the ones I have seen have teats well exposed so I assume they are nurturing a Kit or Pup. Very persistent at raiding the bird feeders.
Anyway terrific Collage you have put together here, have a great weekend be safe and stay well.

Schitterende opname,Keith, HFF en een prettig weekend.
Uit de andere commentaren lees ik dat de grijze niet zo geliefd zijn, maar we mogen niet discrimineren op de huidskleur.........
Vriendelijke groeten..........

How cute! I wonder if you still have any red squirrels in your area? I heard they are becoming extinct because of the invasive grey ones.
HFF and have a nice weekend, Keith!

Really cute, this "triple fence". I think I have never seen a gray squirrel, the ones I know are reddish. HFF Keith and a nice weekend.

We do have some red squirrels in the UK, but they are very rare and nowhere near as widespread as the Greys.

Grey Squirrels were introduced to this country in Victorian times and have pretty much forced the Red Squirrels out. They are considered an invasive species and some people call them vermin.

I quite like them........it's not their fault they're here! Thanks for dropping by Christa :-)

Thanks for the information, Keith, I didn't know that. We have red squirrels in the garden, they are pleasant buddies, the only thing they do in the autumn is to steal our nuts. But after all, they have to build up reserves for winter, so it's okay.
