Grey Heron

Grey Heron
Taken at Langstone Mill Pond, Hampshire. This is a large crop and shows the same Heron from my previous image. The quality isn't great, but as a record shot I'm happy with it.

Jean Paul Capdeville, trester88, Jörg, Roger (Grisly) and 9 other people have particularly liked this photo

The branch must be tougher than it looks, holding the heron! I would be very pleased with this image Keith. Very well captured.

Works really well and has good quality despite a large crop Keith, Herons always have that grumpy look about them.

Personnellement je trouve la photo de ce héron trés réussie. Je pense que sa coupe de cheveux laisse un peu à désirer. On voit que dans le Hampshire, les coiffeurs aussi sont confinés. Amitié. Jean Paul

Glad you approve Jean Paul. You're quite correct about our local hairdressers - the heron's hair is much tidier than mine at the moment :-))
