H F F. The Old Mill, Langstone Harbour
Happy Fence Friday to you all. I trust you are all safe and well and looking forward to the weekend. Thank you for visiting my photo-stream this past week and leaving comments and/or stars.
We decided to visit one of our favourite (and most photographed) places yesterday for a gentle walk as it's only a 10 min drive away. There were a few people around, mainly families with children and some dog walkers but everyone was being sensible and maintaining social distancing where possible (some of the footpaths are quite narrow).
This was taken just after high tide. Just past the mill is a mill pond, full of swans, gulls, ducks, coots etc and also home to a large colony of Egrets (I spotted at least 13 in the trees) and a couple of Grey Herons. The Egrets and Herons all sadly, too far away for a decent shot, even with my 100-300mm zoom lens.

HFF to you too, Keith!
HFF and a nice weekend!
HFF and a nice weekend.
It's a beautiful group of buildings with the old mill and the other house. The stairs of the left house lead directly into the water if it is high tide. If one's step out of the house he gets wet feet. And so many fences! One of them leads into the water.
