Huron Ridge, jamming
Pam Johnson, who's clearly spent time at bluegrass festivals, has been wondering about jam sessions. Many bluegrass fans are quite competent musicians, and small gatherings in campsites, the parking lot, or hotel lobbies (depends on the venue, of course) are usually part of the show.
Except there were only a handful of folks at this festival, and the program only lasted one afternoon, so the jam possibilities were scarce. I'm pretty sure this was the only jam--by the members of the Huron Ridge band, back behind the pavilion. In more usual times there'd be a small crowd surrounding them, watching and perhaps playing along.
Turns out they recorded part of the session.
