The Butt! (1 pip)

Officially the windiest place in the the UK with North Atlantic gusts of 160 miles per hour recorded, this is also the most northerly point on the Isle of Lewis,

Thank you Keith, this was one of those places where I could have spent many hours , the birds and the powerful waves fascinated me,
The wind speed was measured by and are in the Guinness book of world records.

1st January 1962, A wind gust with a remarkable speed of 133.6 miles per hour (215.9 kilometers per hour) recorded at the butt of Lewis.
