14th Century Tower Castle,
Flat light and a gentle mist for this image of Portencross Castle, On the Firth of Clyde in the tiny coastal hamlet of Portencross, North Ayrshire!
The castle was in severe danger of serious structural collapse but In 1998 a local charity, the Friends of Portencross Castle (FOPC), were successful in putting together a funding package of just over £1 million for repairs, and this is the result!
HFF and a good weekend,,,,,,,,,,,,, Large for detail!

From what I can see, the money spent on the restoration was very well spent.
