At length did cross an albatross, HFF

A statue of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's Ancient Mariner stands on the promenade, He was staying at nearby Nether Stowey with friends William and Dorothy Wordsworth when having walked over the Quantock Hills to Watchet he was inspired to write the poem,

The evening sun casts long shadows and tide is about to turn and refill the harbour which been dry for some hours.
