The Old Man

A distant Old Man of Storr and the eastern end of the Isle of Skye's Trotternish Ridge from captured from the western side, Standing at 55 metres high, the ‘old man’ component of the name derives from the fact that when seen from the front, the rocky pinnacle and The Storr behind it create the face of a haggard and craggy old man. Trotternish is the northernmost peninsula of the Island and the ridge extends for the majority of its length 30 kilometres (20 miles) It also contains other major features such as the and Kilt Rock! HFF and a nice weekend,,,,,, Large for details! More information en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trotternish
