Nice lines, both vertical and horizontal. I like the vibrant colours from the signs and the tangled branches of the trees which contrast with the architecture.

Thanks, Keith. I saw it much the same way -- the buildings and signs creating a stage for the dancing trees. In my 70s but still a child, I guess.

I'm also in my 70s John...........and my view is that "growing old is compulsory, while growing up is optional".

The trees certainly soften the lines of the building. I wonder what they're like eleven years on? Either gone, or the branches are yards higher and don't offer that function any more.

Unfortunately, I no longer remember where this is, so I can't check on a map site. The building next door to where I lived in Toronto took down four full-grown trees and replaced then with shrubs (and the lawn with rocks) so anything is possible.

It is a nice picture. There is a lot of geometry. It definitely benefits from the trees.
