I didn't think about taking a photo when I saw the ravine right beside me! Especially when there was a car or lorry wreck at the bottom every 5 km...

Yes, I understand that. Today the drivers on our high mountain roads usually know their route by heart, they know where there are potholes, and know where the roads have places for maneuvering of oncoming vehicles.
