Northern lights in southern Ohio
Running away from home
One spicy thistle
I see a moon arisin'
A caterpiller had a taste
Another oddly colored slug
Five-lined skink suns himself
A closer look at Mr. Skink
And a pseudohead on its hind end
It has a "foreskin" to protect its head
Wonder what the spots are for
Some kind of sphinx moth caterpillar, I think
Hmmm. Front legs extend beyond those claws!
Who is eating whom?

Like a tiny artichoke
It blends in well, doesn't it
Be glad they're not 50 feet tall
Slug collectors, take notice
The show begins on a patriotic note
Some come for the chicken dinner . . .
